Financing an ADU - part 3

The cost of the ADU affects the ability to pay for it, of course. The number quoted in the media is $250,000, often much more; that is unaffordable for many (and makes the rent unaffordable too). At Verdant Living we take this issue seriously; we believe an ADU can be installed for less than $200,000, complete, finished including appliances. We are constantly thinking of ways to reduce the cost.
