Financing an ADU - part 1

There has been a lot of positive buzz about ADUs/mini homes/backyard bungalows, but actually doing one is a challenge. It is a construction project with the attendant issues, not the least of which is how to pay for it. Unless the buyer happens to have cash available, it means taking out loan, often a mortgage type product. Verdant Living knows lenders familiar with ADU finance.
