This is an article that was in the Business section of the Denver Post on Sunday May 12th. It is based on a pitch from the American Enterprise Institute promoting private sector solutions to the need for housing. They said that if the “light touch density” rules they recommend were adopted over 44, 000 residences could be built annually in Colorado (27,000 in the Denver metro). Seems high, but states the possibilities. Additionally, they said over 25% would be ADUs (!).
